We have just received a brand new line of stained glass gift items from Joan Baker Designs. These are beautiful pieces and will be treasured by your family and friends. Here are just some of the 24 pieces we have received:
We have also received our 2009 Holiday Seed Ornaments and Wreaths. This year we have upgraded our most popular Christmas Wreath with lots of almonds, fruit and plenty of nuts and suet nuggets. We have also added juniper (cedar) berries, which is our feathered friend's favorite fruit. This year we have added a new item: The WBU Birdie Bungalow. This roosting pocket is covered with lots of bird seed for your backyard guests. After they eat the seed from the outside they will use the bungalow for evening roosting and escaping from the cold winter nights. There are 3 styles to choose from. We have also added some adorable gingerbread man shaped ornaments. Here is a photo of all of our new holiday seed shapes:
Enough about the birds! What about us humans?
This past summer Margi and I were able to spend several days in the Pacific Northwest, exploring and relaxing. One of the wonderful things we discovered were the fruits grown in Washington and Oregon. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!
Fruit grown in that region grow very slowly and have the opportunity to pack in lots and lots of natural sugars. They are absolutely the sweetest fruits I have every tasted. We developed a great relationship with a local fruit grower and have brought several of their products into our store.
